Introduction
and Purpose |
Various counseling programs for international students are provided to help students adapt to life in Korea as well as to ensure a favorable school life.
1) Regular consultation: One-on-one regular consultation is conducted every semester. Regular consultation helps international students adapt to school life and allows them to set learning plans and goals by familiarizing them with graduation requirements. 2) Frequent consultation: International students can apply for frequent consultation if they need counseling during school life. There is no fixed consultation period for frequent consultation, so the consultation is conducted when international students need immediate help. 3) Long-term absentee consultation: Consultation is conducted with international students who have been absent from classes for a long time at a range below 1/3 of the semester. Long-term absentee consultation allows international students to solve problems they face in class participation. 4) Academic Warning Risk Group consultation: Consultation is conducted for international students with academic warning risk groups with grades of 1.75 or higher and less than 2.0 in the previous regular semester to help international students with difficulties in learning and prevent academic warnings in advance. 5) Academic Warning consultation: Consultation is conducted for academic warning students whose grades are less than 1.75 in the previous regular semester to solve the difficulties experienced in learning and to prevent academic warnings in the future. 6) Psychology consultation: Consultation is conducted with professional psychological counselors to help emotional stability and international students adapt to college life. |
